family trip: idyllwild cabin

We had so much fun staying at this little mid-century cabin in the middle of 20+ acres of undeveloped hillside in Idyllwild. The views in the morning from the bed were just unrealll. The first night we got there we explored and made a fire and made some pizzas and watched a movie… it was the perfect family getaway since the kids had a few days off school for their parent teacher conferences. I guess the cabin was built in 1979 by a violin maker (exceptional acoustics) and was recently renovated and built into the national forest so it was so private and peaceful! I was SO sad to leave but I know we will definitely be back. We didn’t get to explore the town of Idyllwild much because we just hiked around and enjoyed the forest, but next time I’ll have to update this with what to see/eat while in Idyllwild.

If you are interested in booking this cabin i’ll link the airbnb link for you below!
